Drink to Frank

This blog would normally name and shame phoney Franks out there, but there's one (only one mind you) which we in fact fully endorse - and indeed actively support. We've been drinking Frank Water at Frank PR HQ for the last few years and have apparently knocked back enough of the stuff for 100 villagers below the poverty line in India (Andhra Pradesh) to now have access to clean safe drinking water. Campari & Skoda?

A pop-up restaurant on the 10th floor of a multistorey car park in Peckham, south east London, sounds a neat idea. Until you hear that it calls itself Frank's Cafe & Campari Bar. Anyhow, the place is apparently quite cool, which is probably because it has hijacked the Frank brand, albeit temporarily. The food is nobby posh British: crab on toast, grilled ox heart and lots of things with anchovies. The snag is that the only alcoholic beverage on the menu is a Campari cocktail. The whole space is the brainchild of architecture students Paloma Gormley and Lettice Drake. This installation closes down on September 30th when I guess the Reliant Robins make a return to their rightful spaces.
